On 29th May 1969 Newcastle beat Ujpest Doza 3-0 in the first leg of the Fairs Cup Final.

I was there and would never have believed we would not win a major trophy over the next 52 years 👀 I was stood in the Gallowgate end in what is known as Strawberry Corner. Bobby Moncur scored 2 goals
