Newcastle have won the league!

... in my game.

Okay, so this blog probably won't interest all of you... perhaps anyone... but I'm happy to finally announce that I have won the league with Newcastle in FM22! Shame it couldn't have happened during a match of mine but I don't begrudge Chelsea their win, which finally put me out of Man City's reach again after my 10-point lead shrank considerably.

The team that did it (average first XI and subs based on number of appearances this season):

Reserve goalkeeper Glenn Heron and sub midfielder "God" (nickname for Godwin Jimoh) are both newgens, ie. youth players created by the game. Everyone else is a real player that I hope we sign in real life!

I've been posting about this as I've gone, in the Forum, but I thought that finally winning the league after 101 years of hurt was worth blogging about!
