Scorecast and Tablecast Final Report 2022/23

Sorry about the delay, folks... my main PC blue-screened on me and lots of other things happening etc. etc. etc...

Anyway, here's the final standings for the 2022/23 seaosn.

Tablecast

In a competition that moved around LOADS throughout the season, it was eventually Tony Bosworth who finished top of the pile!

Congratulations Tony! Chris Collins just edged out of the top 10 right at the death, and Kay Waters finishing bottom of the league. John Waters' 2nd place finish makes my parents the furthest apart in the table of any two family members. I'm quite chuffed with 9th, really, and my missus finished 6th too. Better luck next season, Mum! As John is a Toontalk admin, Barry Fyfe is awarded the second prize (details further below).

The new Tablecast and Scorecast competitions will be announced on 1st July. Both competitions will be open to the general public, not just Toontalk members, so please share with all the footy fans you know when you get the email through on 1st July.

Scorecast

Here's the Scorecast league table for the end of 2022/23:

Congratulations to Stephen Hill, the 2023 Scorecast Champion. The scores for the round are slightly inflated due to rescheduled games from ages ago that have only been played recently. The actual maximum for this round was actually 12 by Trevor Milburn. Despite a decent score, Rory Robertson couldn't quite hold on to 2nd and last year's champion John Thompson has claimed the second prize.

I'll throw some more stats at you for later, but for you four, here's what you've won:

1ST PRIZE: A signed copy of "Football Passion in Black and White" and a champion's mug.

2ND PRIZE: A Toontalk mug.
