Scorecast Round 11 Update - 02/02/2023

Well... I don't think anyone's surprised that it's Man Utd. in the final... but particularly unsurprised was Michael Waters, the only person to get bullseyes on both legs of their semi-final tie against Nottingham Forest. Similarly, the Southampton v Newcastle fixture was 0-1 followed by 2-1 and the only person to get bullseyes for both of those was Neil Wilson. Well done both!

Obviously the last couple of games didn't affect Tablecast, so it's just a Scorecast update for now, at the end of Round 11. Here's the top half...

Rory Shoemaker top-scores this round with an impressive 16 points - that's the second-highest one-round total of the season so far, just two points below David Russell's record of 18. Davids Russell and Miller have held onto the top two spots for a round, but didn't get into double figures as many have managed... special mention to Neil Wilson, John Waters, Paul Wesbroom, and Tony Bosworth on 12. Meanwhile, down near the bottom, Geoff Selkirk continues his valiant battle to stay off the bottom despite having played only six rounds. Pete Charnock, the number 6 seed from last season's competition, is the lowest-scoring participant to have played all 11 rounds.

Thanks everyone, and good luck with Round 12. Round 13 will be a short deadline (only 6 days), and will include the League Cup final rather than the originally intended Newcastle v Brighton game. One of those teams made the final. At Wembley.
