Tablecast 07/11/2022

No Scorecast this weekend so it's just a Tablecast report today... and Newcastle are up to THIRD. If I was legitimately from the future and came back and told you we'd be 3rd at the beginning of the season, there's not a chance any of you would've believed me... with the possible exception of Stuart Latimer. Neil Wilson, George Bland, Dean Hadfield and I all had Newcastle finishing 5th so the five of us have Newcastle closer to their current position than anyone else.

Of course, that's not how the league is decided though. Before I reveal the competition table, here's a look at the Premier League table:

Liverpool had only lost 1 of their last 20 games against Spurs, so their win was both unsurprising and welcome... if we beat Chelsea, that's us in 3rd place going into the break! What does this table look like for you lot, though?

Well, it's not good for me. I've plummeted from 5th to 32nd, which makes me the second-biggest position dropper in the league... only surpassed by Ian Thirkeld who was 3rd, but is now 40th!

Biggest positional gain goes to Kay Waters, who was 41st but is now all the way up to 3rd position. Meanwhile, Stephen Wallace is the only person to have more than one of their relegated sides currently in the relegation zone - namely Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Neil Wilson's picks look to be evening out as he climbs from 7th to 2nd, but it's Roy Parkinson who sits top with 13 points. Sarah Waters currently props up the table with Stuart Latimer, the only person to have picked Newcastle to win the league, sitting second-bottom. Those last two can be compared below:
