There's been a slight delay with this one as I've snazzed it up a bit... this will all eventually be embedded in the website, but for the time being, first of all, here's how the Premier League looked after the first game:

... and here's your top half for Gameweek One:

Martin Soulsby off to a flying start with three bullseyes right off the bat, and Anj Luzanycia-Hird close at his heels with the same tally of 9 points. 3 of the Waters clan in the top half as well, which I like to see. Notably, David Brown is the only person in the competition to have had two of his relegation picks (West Ham and Nottingham Forest) in the bottom 3.
As for the bottom half...

... and a horrendous start for Brendan Allan, along with two of our admins! The twin Waterses both off to an inauspicious start, separated by a point, and Toontalk logo designer Chris Collins manages to stay just out of the relegation zone. Well, there's no relegation... so let's just call it... the crap zone. Sorry, you three.
And wouldn't you know it... there's a new feature this season! Top vs bottom comparison! With the expected fluidity of the Tablecast league table throughout the season, I dare say most of us will probably be featured here at some point!

Brendan starts with no points... but at a glance, his table doesn't look far off! Weird how only a tiny change here and there can make a big difference to the scores! Martin got one of the relegation spots after one game, with one of his bullseyes - Southampton rock bottom, as Martin thinks they will be at the end of the season.
On to Gameweek Two and, as often happens early in the season, it's a completely different-looking table... here's the Premier League table after the second round of matches:

I had a quick scan through the predictions and nobody (not even Stuart Latimer who's tipped Newcastle to win the league again) has Man Utd. in the bottom 3... will they stay there? Time will tell...
Here's the top half of the Tablecast league table, as it stands going into this weekend's games:

... and it actually looks quite promising for me. I won't be counting any chickens just yet though. Jordan McKeown with a very strong start, with George Bland, Dean Hadfield, and Yin Mo only just behind. The table, of course, looks very different and will continue to shift erratically for some time, I think! Chris Turner is the league's biggest climber in the second week, gaining 28 places. Here's the bottom half:

A big fall for Anj, and even more of one for Tony Bosworth who drops 28 places! John Waters escapes the red zone, his twin falls into the bottom 3, and Brendan manages to climb off the bottom of the table at the expense of Adam Bland who, in last place, is 40 places behind his Dad, representing the largest familial gap in the table after two games.
Here's Adam next to league leader Jordan McKeown... will they stay at their respective ends at the table? I would like to think that Adam's optimism for the Toon will pay dividends towards the end! I think City are gonna win though. Here's the comparison:

Anyway, that's all for now. Hopefully I'll have this all automated pretty soon... possibly even with live updates every time a goal goes in, if I can find a decent API. For those of you who know what an API is... any suggestions?
Anyway, here's hoping Stuart Latimer's got it right...

Wishful thinking for Newcastle?
Generous to Man Utd?
Generous to Forest?
Harsh on Brentford
Fingers crossed for Everton...
Good luck Stuart - you're gonna need it!
