Welcome, Toontalkers!

To answer your first question, yes, this is the same Toontalk team from the best Newcastle fans' group on Facebook. Welcome to the newest addition to the Toontalk online entity, a new, forum-based website that we've decided to run alongside our Facebook and Twitter platforms. Facebook isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and recent changes in censorship protocols have made use of the site difficult for a lot of people, particularly group admins.

The Toontalk Facebook page was set up almost 5 years ago and has been a huge success. It has a community of over 4,000 members from over 100 countries worldwide. We hope the new website will be equally successful. This website isn't here to replace Facebook, it's just an alternative if you fancy a change of scenery, and/or if you would like to take a much needed break from social media but still want to keep up to date with the usual footy-based stuff. We hope you enjoy it and will stay and join in the discussion.

Note: The admins for this site will be a subset of the admins of the Facebook group, at least for the time being. As more people join the website, admins may have to split their duties between different platforms and we may recruit one or two others.

This website and forum are very much in beta testing so if you notice anything that doesn't look right, or doesn't seem to be working properly, please let one of the website admins know by messaging them directly through their profile, and/or by posting in the "Glitch Reports" forum group. Similarly, if you have any ideas for changes you'd like to see to the website, please join the "Suggestion Box" group and post in there. At present, the website admins are:

Rob Waters

John Waters

Tony Slater
